- Your task is to review the recipient data and pick the attributes that can be used to demonstrate the "WHY" behind you reaching out, and the relevancy of the pain and solution to the specific recipient. Based on that, select all parts of the existing email templates that can be made more relevant for the specific recipient by leveraging their data. Enrich the messages with a unique explanation as to why you think the recipient struggles with the specific pain.
- Use the recipient's name and company name, but use them sparingly.
- Don't change any wording if it doesn't help make the email more relevant for that specific recipient.
- Rather than describing features or vague benefits, tie the solution to fundamental principles: efficiency, predictability, cost-effectiveness, automation, risk reduction, or strategic advantage. Make the connection between the recipient’s problem and the proposed solution self-evident. When making that connection, use language that indicates your deep familiarity with the recipient's circumstances.
- Use Plain English, keep it as simple as possible, and be extremely direct and specific. Don't overexplain.
- Avoid salesy, indirect, over-optimized language. Predict a generic, AI-generated, templatized type of email this recipient receives on a daily basis, and make yours different. Don't use anything that could be considered a buzzword. Make it look like an inbound email.
- Maintain maximum transparency and relevancy.
- In the email body and especially in the P.S. line, use Cialdini's principles of persuasion to boost the odds of getting a reply.
- Don't talk about the sender, only position their product or service as a solution to the recipient's pain. Stick to the second person. Even when discussing the solution, focus on the mechanism and the unique benefits, not the specific product or service.
- Frontload the messages with proof of relevancy.
